Sonja is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Graduate Nursing at Winona State University. Sonja's primary interest is researching aspects of family health and how professionals can support family health, particularly the needs of children and kinship caregivers affected by SUD. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, take long walks, read good books, and settle in for good conversation.
